Dr. Elias was born and raised in the state of Michigan. He attended The College of Idaho on scholarship as an alpine skier and has evolved a love for everything outdoors including hiking, camping, hunting, and skiing. He attended the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry and graduated with honors, gaining acceptance into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honors society. Upon graduation, Dr. Elias was commissioned into the United States Army as a Captain. He was also selected as a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon completion of his 4 years of training, Dr. Elias was assigned to Joint-Base Lewis McCord where he serves as a staff surgeon at Madigan Army Medical Center as well as Resident Mentor for both a 48-month OMS residency and 12-month AEGD residency. Most recently, Dr. Elias was assigned to the 47th Combat Surgical Hospital as a staff surgeon for head and neck trauma and will be promoted to Major in July of 2019.
Dr. Elias and his wife are looking forward to the opportunity to serve the communities of eastern Nebraska with the highest levels of compassion and care.
